SARAH BOURQUE

Music Journalist

Hello and welcome! A little about me: I grew up in New England, but have traveled, and lived, in many places.  At the age of 13, I wrote my first unpublished novel about a group of musicians and their life while touring. At 17, I spent the summer touring in nine countries throughout Europe, with The United States Collegiate Wind Band, as a flutist. Freshman year of college in Missouri provided me with valuable knowledge about the inner workings of radio, while studying Mass Communications. A United States Air Force veteran, I remain driven, and flexible, in any situation.

After years of working solely in the corporate world, I went back to my roots a few years ago and combined the love of writing and music into one medium - music journalism. Constantly traveling for work, music is what sparked the passion to capture and release the moments on a live stage through the pen. Interviews, show reviews, festival coverage, and album reviews are just some of the articles I write on a consistent basis.  Always up for a new challenge, and not one to shy away from an opportunity, creative ideas are always welcome. In addition to writing, photography work is also available during live shows and festivals.

Please feel free to check out some of my work that I have written, though the list is not all inclusive. Photography samples are also provided for your viewing pleasure. Thank you for stopping by my page!

When I say work I only mean writing. Everything else is just odd jobs.
